About the Journal
The PRUMO magazine, from the Department of Architecture and Urbanism (DAU) of PUC-Rio, is intended as a democratic space for critical reflection through articles written by professionals from different areas of knowledge concerning the challenges and solutions for building human environments socially fair, economically viable, environmentally responsible and architecturally sound, which reflect in some ways the principles that underlie our undergraduate programs in Architecture and Urbanism as well as our postgraduate programs in Architecture.
PRUMO results from the dedication of teachers and students from DAU / PUC-Rio and the collaboration of authors from different national and foreign institutions, who generously share their ideas and questions with us.
Structured in different sections, the journal seeks the broad participation of the academic community by discussing topics that are often controversial and always have a major impact on everyday life and the future of cities. Scientific articles, reports, reports of professional experience or projects, book reviews, translations and interviews in the areas of interest of the journal are accepted.
We wish you all a good read!
