São Paulo: new forms of neighborhood

Abstract

In this article, we discuss the new shapes of neighborhood defined from the daily life, in which many things happen simultaneously. These relations are observed in the city of São Paulo. Some of them are more explicit, typical of the megalopolis, and others are more subtle on the street scale. Among them, it is always possible to discover relations.

Doctorate in the Humanities, Rights and Other Legitimacy Postgraduate Program of the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo. Former advisor of CADES-PI (Regional Council for the Environment, Sustainable Development and Culture of Peace, Pinheiros Sub-Prefecture), 2013/2015. He has experience in the area of ​​social communication, with emphasis on integrated media, working mainly in the following subjects: the city of São Paulo, urban portraits, literature as a public dialogue in the arts. Idealizer of the project "The neighborhood", work that fosters dialogues, exchanges of experiences and reveals through literature the history of people and, consequently, places. Together with the community, it promotes activities to ensure coexistence aimed at integration as an improvement in the quality of life in urban centers.
